The fourth season of Amazon Prime’s Transparent debuts today.

The show stars Jeffrey Tambor, who won Golden Globe and Emmy awards for his portrayal of Maura Pfefferman (born Morton Pfefferman), a father who reveals to his family that he has always identified as a woman. Judith Light is his wife, Shelly Pfefferman, with Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker and Jay Duplas playing the Pfefferman children.

This season, the Pfeffermans “take off on a spiritual and political journey as they dig deep into their family’s history. Maura heads to Israel to speak at a conference and makes a startling discovery. Before long the rest of the family joins her for an explosive adventure.”

Jill Soloway writes, directs and executive produces the series. Andrea Sperling is executive producer.

You can watch all four seasons with an Amazon Prime subscription.
