Fleabag, a half-hour comedy series about “the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman” tackling “modern living in London,” will return for a second Amazon Prime season in 2019.

Created and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fleabag is based on her play of the same name, which won several awards including an Edinburgh Fringe First Award and the Critics’ Circle and Off-West End Awards for Most Promising Playwright.

The eight-episode first season, available now to Amazon Prime subscribers, also stars American Dad!’s Brett Gelman, Broadchurch’s Olivia Colman, The Rebel’s Bill Paterson, Outnumbered’s Hugh Dennis, Harlots’ Hugh Skinner, Paddington 2’s Jamie Demetrious, The Favourite’s Jenny Rainsford and Fry-Up’s Sian Clifford.
