Welcome back, Mr. Rogers — no, not that Mr. Rogers.

We’re talking about Brandon Rogers, the writer, director and star of Magic Funhouse, a series about one of the wackiest public access children’s program you’ll ever see.

Magic Funhouse will return for a second, seven-episode season Thursday, August 24, with back-to-back installments on subscription streaming service Fullscreen. New episodes will premiere every Thursday.

Magic Funhouse goes behind the frenzied scenes at the children’s show, “ruled by a maniacal star, who treats the series as a playground for his twisted imagination; featuring the worst advice for kids, an inept crew, and endless technical difficulties.”

Season one ended with the fictional show’s cancellation. Season two begins with Arlo, played by Rogers, “working at the courthouse snack stand while the rest of the group prepares to pull off ‘Operation Magic Funhouse,’ a plan that includes convincing Arlo to revive the show and take it out on the road.”

Other returning cast members include Elise Christian, Alex Diehl, Paulette Jones, Jude Lanston, Nandini Minocha, TJ Smith and Jess Weaver.

Magic Funhouse’s pilot episode has received more than 3.9 million views on Roger’s YouTube page. You can watch it here:

Magic Funhouse can be streamed at and on a range of mobile and connected TV apps.

Fullscreen costs $5.99 a month after a seven-day free trial.
