Today, former Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams’ new comedy feature – The Incredible Jessica James – debuts on Netflix.

Williams is the title character, “a young, aspiring playwright in New York City who is struggling to get over a recent breakup.” She finds herself on a blind date with Boone, a recently divorced app designer played by Get Shorty’s Chris O’Dowd. Together, “the unlikely duo discover how to make it through the tough times in a social media obsessed post-relationship universe.”

The cast also includes Straight Outta Compton’s Lakeith Stanfield and Master of None’s Noël Wells.

Jessica James is directed and written by James Strouse.
