Ozark, a 10-episode drama starring Jason Bateman as a money launderer for Mexico’s second largest drug cartel, debuts this Friday, July 21, on Netflix.

Bateman is Marty Byrde, a financial planner who, having run afoul of the cartel, flees with his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. Bateman’s job, it seems, is to launder $500 million for the cartel in five years. Joining Byrde on the lam are his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and their teenage children Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz) and Jonah (Skylar Gaertner).

Bateman directs two of the episodes.
