Amazon will stream a series of classic Agatha Christie stories, starting with Ordeal By Innocence, which began production this month in the UK. A release date was not announced.

In Ordeal By Innocence, “old wounds are reopened for the Argyll family when a man suddenly turns up and claims that the black sheep of the family, Jack Argyll, could not have murdered its tyrannical matriarch—for which he was accused just one year earlier.”

The cast includes Love Actually’s Bill Nighy, Star Trek Into Darkness’ Alice Eve, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’s Ella Purnell, The Good Wife’s Matthew Goode, Capote’s Catherine Keener, White Gold’s Ed Westwick, Fortitude’s Luke Treadaway, Poldark’s Eleanor Tomlinson and The A Word’s Morven Christie.

Ordeal By Innocence and subsequent Christie installments will be viewable with an Amazon Prime subscription.
