‘Stage’ Season Five

Coming to the Stage, subscription streaming service Comedy Dynamics’ showcase for up-and-coming comics, starts its fifth season today, July 14.

Hosted by Andy Kindler, the new episodes promise the return of the seven-foot-tall Mr. Microphone, with guest George Wallace, along with such newcomers as Scout Durwood, Ify Nwadiwe, Tess Barker, Chinedu Unaka, Ross Everett, Kiran Deol, Richard Villa, Ever Mainard, Armando Anto, Dave Waite, Jamar Malachi Neighbors, Moses Storm and Ross Everett:

Coming to The Stage was created to give aspiring stand-ups a chance at wider exposure online. Alumni include Rhea Butcher whose series Take My Wife is now on another subscription comedy service, Seeso.

Comedy Dynamics didn’t say how many episodes will be in season five of Coming to the Stage, but the previous seasons had six apiece.

You can watch the first 25 episodes of Coming to the Stage now, with more to come, with a $3.99-per-month Comedy Dynamics subscription. It’s available for existing Hulu or Amazon Prime subscribers, and on Roku, Android or iOS apps.
