DirecTV Now Is Livelier

DirecTV Now is more than doubling the number of live local stations it carries, expanding its coverage to almost 70% of US TV households.

The expansion, which takes place this month, includes the addition of ABC affiliates in 30 markets including Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth and Boston; NBC in four markets, including Kansas City, Salt Lake City and West Palm Beach; and Fox in Juneau, Alaska.

By the end of August, DirecTV Now expects to have tripled the number of local channels available since its launch in November 2016.
