Subscription streaming provider WhereverTV said it has acquired four music-based video channels as the basis of a new service called WhereverTV’s Live Onstage, which “will feature genre-specific artists and genre-specific programming including live concerts, videos, interviews and other industry related news.”

The four channels are Digital RodeoTV, a country channel that WhereverTV has already offered for a one-time $6 fee; Digital CrossTV (faith-based), Digital PopTV and Digital RockTV. The press release announcing the acquisition did not say who sold the four channels or how much WhereverTV’s Live Onstage will cost viewers.

WhereverTV currently offers a wide range of subscription channels and packages, including the general interest Choice TV (over 30 channels like Fight Network, JusticeCentral, Comedy TV and RT News for $9.99 monthly) and Faith TV (11 channels like TBN, Juce TV and The Church Channel for $4.99 monthly). Go to www.wherever.tv for a complete list of all of WhereverTV’s individual channels and packages.

WhereverTV is available online, on iOS and Android apps, and via smart TVs, GoogleTV, AppleTV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
