The known planetary neighborhood is getting more crowded.

NASA will hold a news conference on Wednesday, February 22, at 1 pm ET, to present the latest findings on planets discovered beyond our solar system, also known as exoplanets.

Journalists and space enthusiasts will be able to stream the event live at www.nasa.gov/nasatv, as well as ask questions on Twitter using the hashtag #askNASA.

To stream on the NASA website, visit www.nasa.gov/nasatv. NASA also has a live streaming app for Apple TV, iOS, Android and other platforms. For more information about the NASA app, visit http://www.nasa.gov/nasaapp.

As Space.com notes, thousands of exoplanets have been discovered over the past two decades, thanks largely to NASA’s Kepler telescope.
