IMDb’s Oscar Party

IMDb, the comprehensive online movie database for trivia fanatics, will live-stream its own Oscar party on Sunday, February 26.

The IMDb Live Viewing Party, Presented by OREO Chocolate Candy Bar is described as a free companion show to the 89th Academy Awards.

IMDb “special correspondent” Dave Karger. and Rachel Smith of Amazon’s Style Code Live, will co-host the program, to take place at “an invitation-only industry viewing party” in Hollywood.

The show will start about 8 pm ET and “focus on a fun, freewheeling conversation during which Dave Karger, Rachel Smith, celebrity guests and industry influencers will provide informative expert commentary to complement and enhance the experience of watching the Academy Awards telecast.”

Coverage will include real-time winner announcements, photo galleries and trivia quizzes.

You’ll be able to stream the show on IMDb, Twitter and Twitch, a social video platform largely geared to gamers.
