‘Growing Exposed’

Jeremy Deichen, producer/creator of Growing Exposed, a series that promises “an inside look into some of North America’s most impressive legal marijuana growing operations,” said the show premiered Wednesday on HighTimes.com, “the definitive resource for all things cannabis.”

Or has it? The Savvy Screener editors scoured and searched HighTimes.com, but could find no evidence of Growing Exposed. We’re sure it’s on the way, because Emily Cegielski, High Times’ director of digital media, said, “High Times is super excited to be the home for the Growing Exposed video series.”

No worries, though! Five of the 12 episodes from the series’ first season are already available at www.growingexposed.com, and at least two on Vimeo.

Amanda MacKay, former MTV Canada and Spike TV host, anchors the series, with each episode also including a segment with “Garden Sage” David Robinson, author of The Grower’s Handbook, “who simplifies the growing process for viewers.”

“Garden Sage” tour:

Guests visited on the series include Ian Kaplan, owner of Clandestine Gardens, a cannabis/producer grower in the state of Washington; and Justin Cooper, co-owner of Green Planet Wholesale, the largest chain of privately owned hydroponics shops in Canada.

Growing Exposed said a new episode will premiere on HighTimes.com “around the middle of each month.”
