A ‘Barkin’ New Year’s Eve’

Bookaboo, the rock-and-rollin’, bandana-wearing dog puppet, will have his own New Year’s Eve special.

Amazon’s Bookaboo Barkin’ New Year’s Eve will premiere tomorrow, December 30, with guest Paula Abdul and cameo appearances by “Bookaboo’s celebrity friends including Rachelle Lefevre, Molly Parker, Hannah Simone, Emily Van Camp, Selma Blair, Michael Sheen, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Sarah Carter, Stana Katic, WWE Wrestler Adam Copeland, and NFL All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Described as a “first ever pre-school rockumentary,” Bookaboo’s Barkin’ New Year’s Eve will present “a hilarious and heartwarming account of how Bookaboo rose to fame and what life is like on the road for the world’s most famous, rock puppy superstar.”

Bookaboo’s first season  follows the drum-playing Bookaboo “as he tours the globe with his bandmates Paws and Growler … There’s only one hitch – Bookaboo just can’t play without a story a day!”

Episodes feature a human guest sharing a story that inspires Bookaboo to take to the stage. The series includes puppets, animation and live appearances by actors.
