HealthiNation Bulks Up

HealthiNation, an online destination for mobile health, food and fitness videos, will augment its library in 2017 with the following content:

  • Right Side of the Bed, a 10-part series co-produced with the National Sleep Foundation, providing advice for getting a full night’s sleep
  • HealthiNation Yoga, a 60-episode weekly series with instructors Faith Hunter and Elise Joan, offering topics for those with beginner, moderate and advanced level yoga experience
  • 60 additional episodes of HIIT This, a High Intensity Interval Training follow-along series led by fitness trainers Rob Sulaver and Kara Liotta
  • Healthy cooking and eating related programs, including the premiere of a short, “social media first series” tentatively called Bite Sized, as well as more episodes of Clean Eating, Diabetes Bites hosted by registered dietitian Fiorella DiCarlo, and Healthi Holidays
  • New episodes of True Champions.

HealthiNation will also introduce public health Q&A’s featuring HealthiNation doctors and experts, as well as weekly live workouts on Facebook. Topics for Q&A’s in 2017 will include nutrition, Alzheimer’s, anti-aging and parenting. In addition, certified trainers Holly Rilinger and Rob Sulaver will conduct workout sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm ET.

HealthiNation Films has also debuted its first documentary, Time to Live Again, a “story of childhood trauma, healing and resilience.” Depicting the life of Australian born and now Brooklyn-based artist, musician and entrepreneur Nadia Ackerman, it’s available exclusively online at HealthiNation and Facebook.

In early 2017, HealthiNation will premiere a second documentary, Care Until Cure: A Second Chance at Alzheimer’s, a half-hour film about Alzheimer’s caregiving that won “Best Documentary Short” at the Sunscreen Film Festival.
