KlowdTV’s Budget Streaming

With AT&T launching its highly publicized DirectTV Now streaming service yesterday, it might be easy to overlook a much more modest service, KlowdTV, which also debuted.

For just $7.99 a month, KlowdTV offers 19 video channels, but not the big names you’ll find on DirectTV Now, Sling TV or Playstation Vue.

For news, you’ll get One America, The Blaze, Newsmax, France24 and RT. Sports fans can watch GOL TV, Pursuit, Fight Network, Nautical Channel and FNTSY. For kids, how about DuckTV?

Available on “nearly every internet-enabled device,” KlowdTV’s launch announcement said you can watch for free through the end of the year, but the service’s website only offers the obligatory one-month free trial.
