Free ‘Turkish for Beginners’

The first episode of the hit German culture-clash sitcom Turkish for Beginners is now streaming for free, with subtitles, on MHz Choice.

As described by IMDb, the show “centers around a German woman and single mother of a teenage daughter, who starts a relationship and decides to live together with a widowed Turkish father and his two teenage children.”

You can watch all of episode one free at https://mhzchoice.vhx.tv/turkish-for-beginners. For future episodes, you’ll need to subscribe to MHz Choice. The first season of 13 episodes is being rolled out on Tuesdays through December 13. In Germany, Turkish for Beginners ran for 52 episodes from 2006 to 2009. There was also a movie spin-off in 2012.
