Keek Goes Peeks

Ahead of the launch of its new live streaming service called Peeks on Halloween, video sharing app Keek has changed its name – to Peeks. Its website has concurrently been renamed Peeks Video.

Peeks will live-stream the Halloween House Party from a “secret” location in Los Angeles, at 10 pm ET on Monday, October 31.

Peeks promises a “star-studded” event in which its users can interact directly with attendees (who, if they’re not comped, will be paying $500 a ticket.) If you’re a Keek/Peeks user, you can go to the @CITV user account to view and participate.   The party’s host is TV personality Mario Lopez and Peeks is said to expect over 100 “celebrity influencers” such as Sommer Ray, Sarah Stage and Emily Sears.

Peeks added that future original live streams will include such genres as music, sports and sitcoms. The former Keek had 75 million installs and a catalog of some 60 million videos.
