Funimation’s Fall Anime Feast

Funimation is promising an autumn feast for English-speaking fans of anime.

The streaming service, which offers English simulcasts of popular anime shows shortly after their Japanese broadcast premieres, will ‘SimulDub’ 18 shows this fall thanks to a new partnership with Crunchyroll. SimulDubs allow anime fans to view shows months before they are released on home video.

All SimulDub shows, which will stream ad-free in high definition, are available exclusively to premium (formerly All-Access Pass) subscribers for $5.99 monthly. Funimation also offers a limited selection of free ad-supported anime that does not include simulcasts or dubs.

Viewers can also watch content on Funimation Now, an app for smartphones and Kindles. Only premium subscribers can access unlimited device streaming.
