Dream TV Adds Student Content

Dream TV, an African-American targeted channel that launched earlier this year, has reached agreements to add student-produced content from Jackson State University and Florida A&M University to its lineup.

Dream TV’s programming mix currently includes:

  • Movies like Black Gunn, Mahogany and In the Heat of the Night;
  • Classic series, including Logan’s Run, Voyagers, I Love Lucy and (“premiering soon”) The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles;
  • Original entertainment news shows Sidewalks and The Recap;
  • Original drama series Hey Diddle Diddle and Young Disciples;
  • A sketch comedy series What If;
  • A morning show, Women’s Talk Live;
  • Other shows in the exercise, financial and children’s genres.

You can watch Dream TV for free, either online or over-the-air in Detroit (channel 33.4), Florence/Decatur, AL (channels 10 and 39.4), and Pensacola, FL (channel 18).

The channel can also be accessed through Roku’s Clear View Broadcasting, New Beginnings or Movee4u packages; on Wherever TV’s Choice TV package; or through Swig TV, RabbitTV Plus, ZAAPTV, Twingro, MagicTV and MBox.

Finally, for satellite viewers, DreamTV can be found in DirecTV’s MyTVChannels package.
