Live Video-Chat Gossip Show Expands

OMGossip, sort of a modern-day video version of a radio call-in show, has expanded distribution to Facebook Live. The weekly half-hour show, with host/producer Jeremy Hassell interacting with celebrities and fans via smartphones and Skype, airs live Wednesdays at 9 pm ET, with past shows archived here.

During six months of production, OMGossip says Hassell’s celebrity guests have included Farrah Abraham, Candace Cameron Bure, Heather McDonald, Dorinda Medley, Dr. Miami and Jules Wainstein “who have checked in from their homes, the beach, and even while on their daily runs through downtown Beverly Hills.”

OMGossip is produced by Talk Center America, an arm of tech company The Video Call Center. The company also currently produces the music-centered FanJamTV, which runs Wednesdays at 8pm ET, and has previously done a bunch of other programming.
