Olivia de Havilland Turns 100 Today

Thanks to Deadline’s Nancy Tartaglione, we’ve been reminded that classic movie star Olivia de Havilland turns 100 years old today. So let’s celebrate with some free samples of her work.

De Havilland won Best Actress Oscars for To Each His Own (1946) and The Heiress (1949), but these days she’s undoubtedly best-known for her Oscar-nominated supporting performance as sweet Melanie in Gone With the Wind (1939). Or you can catch her in two other noteworthy roles. She plays twins in the murder mystery The Dark Mirror (1946); and co-stars with Ronald Reagan in the western Santa Fe Trail (1940), both viewable here:
