‘Odd Squad’ Returns, Movie to Come

PBS’ acclaimed math-centric, live-action kids “detective” series Odd Squad, starting its second season with an hour-long special today, will also premiere its first-ever movie, conveniently titled Odd Squad: The Movie, on August 1.

The new season features two new Odd Squad kid agents, but in the movie the original two Odd Squad agents will return to team up with the newcomers in order to battle a rival group of adults called Weird Team – featuring guest stars Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) and Hannah Simone (New Girl).

Odd Squad, targeted to 5-8 year-olds, has won several daytime Emmy awards including “outstanding children’s series” in 2015.

In addition to over-the-air, the Odd Squad series and its movie can be seen on PBS Kids online, via mobile apps, and on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Xbox One and Chromecast.
