YouTube Celebs Parlay With Pope

Over the weekend, 11 international YouTube celebrities met with Pope Francis in the Vatican “ to discuss promoting understanding and empathy,” according to a blog post by YouTube’s head of policy Juniper Downs.

imgresThe two U.S. representatives were Dulce Candy, a Mexican immigrant and Iraqi War veteran whose YouTube channel focusing on “beauty, fashion and finding happiness” has more than 2 million subscribers, and Matthew Patrick, whose Game Theorists channel tops 6 million.

YouTube promises that Dulce, Matthew and the other nine video bloggers from countries around the world will be posting videos about their discussion with the Pope during the coming weeks. When they do, we’ll let you know.
