‘Transparent’ to Return

Amazon’s critically acclaimed streaming series Transparent will return for a fourth season.

The show stars Jeffrey Tambor, who won both a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his portrayal of Maura Pfefferman (born Morton Pfefferman), a father who reveals to his family that he has always identified as a woman. The series also stars Judith Light as his wife, Shelly Pfefferman, and Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker and Jay Duplas as their children. Series creator and showrunner Jill Soloway writes, directs and executive produces the series.  Andrea Sperling is executive producer.

Transparent’s fourth season will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2017. Season three is scheduled to premiere this fall in the US, UK, Austria, Germany and Japan. The series premiered in February 2014.
