You’re ‘VRtually There’

USA Today has launched the second season of VRtually There, a weekly virtual reality series. Segments, averaging around five minutes each, will debut each Tuesday at 4 pm ET through July.

USA Today said VRtually There is viewable on the USA Today app for iOS and Android (without a cardboard headset, you’ll see the show in 360 video on the apps) and via the Google Daydream VR headset. The show is also promoted as available in 360 video on YouTube, although The Savvy Screener’s editors could only get the click-and-drag multi-directional navigation to work on certain browsers — namely Chrome and Firefox.

So, if you can, click and drag your mouse when you view this video of Hawaiian hang gliding:

That’s one of three VRtually There segments posted yesterday, along with a ride in a Goodyear blimp and an encounter with giant elephant seals.
