Three members of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black ensemble star in Happy Yummy Chicken, a musical “mockumentary” of musical theater that’s just launched on iTunes and Amazon for $3.99 SD/$4.99 HD.

The Orange trio – Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky), Emma Myles (Leanne) and Diane Guerrero (Maritza) – join Suzzanne Douglas (The Parent ‘Hood) in this satire of musical theater.

Happy Yummy Chicken follows two men (Erick Ransom and the film’s writer Brandon Monokian) as they create a musical inspired by a news story of a woman (Ashley Biel) sitting in a fried chicken restaurant for two months after a breakup.

To stream Happy Yummy Chicken, go to iTunes or Amazon. The fifth season of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black premieres on Friday, June 9.
