Isobel Cup Live Streams

Not a fan of men’s college basketball? Bracket already busted? How about trying women’s professional ice hockey?

The second semi-final game of the two-year-old National Women’s Hockey League’s Isobel Cup Playoffs will stream live today, March 17, at 7:30 pm ET on ABCNews.com and the ABC News app.

The semi-final finds the Buffalo Beauts playing the New York Riveters from the Prudential Center’s Barnabas Health Hockey House in Newark, NJ, which is also the practice rink for the NHL’s New Jersey Devils.

ABC News will also live-stream Sunday’s championship game at 6 pm, with the Boston Pride hosting today’s winner at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA. The Pride defeated the Connecticut Whale, 8-2, yesterday in the first semi-final.

Incidentally, the Beauts, Riveters, Pride and Whale are the only four teams in the fledgling NWHL. The Pride topped the league’s regular season, winning 16 out of 17 games. The Pride also won last year’s first Isobel Cup, named after Lady Isobel Gathorne-Hardy, daughter of Stanley Cup donor Frederick Stanley, the 16th Earl of Derby.

To watch the upcoming playoff games free, go to ABCNews.com/Live or the ABC News app. Games also stream on the NWHL’s YouTube channel and at nwhl.zone/video.

During the past season, weekend NWHL games also aired on Cheddar’s Sling TV channel.

Here’s a replay of last night’s live stream of the first Isobel Cup semi-final:
