Surfing Facebook

The World Surf League has begun offering all Championship Tour and Big Wave Tour events live on its Facebook page, allowing “more interaction between fans on a global level.”

“With Facebook’s scale, we can better serve even more fans by bringing the magic and drama of professional surfing directly to their feeds,” said WSL Chief Community Officer Tim Greenberg.

“Facebook is such a special place for different cultures to connect and now the evolution of surf will be shared beyond coastlines,” said Jordy Smith, one of the world’s top competitors.

The 2017 Championship Tour season will start in Australia during the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast from March 14 – 25.

Live events are also available at worldsurfleague.com/events.
